Australian Talents is based on Drupal 7 marketplace for booking different talented entertainers, bands, musicians, models, actors, entertainers, speakers and services for parties and events of all types and sizes across the whole Australia. Australian Talents is built as an online catalog and advertising platform with genuine listings, photos and videos as well. WebCodin have managed this website development from scratch.
This specific portal includes a social networking features where users can register, upload their own promo photos and videos that are being reviewed and approved by the administrators with the messaging, booking, payment systems integration. From a single actor, stand up comic or kids clown to the dance group, music band or even orchestra, Australian Talents is capable to adapt its adverts to every situation according to the demands of the customer.
Website also provides useful content such as user business contacts, blog, event support service providers and agencies information.
About the project
WebCodin took over the Australian Talents project with the initially developed design, functionality and content for optimization purposes. However the communication and cooperation have grown into strong relations that led to development project from scratch including fully new design and logic development, quality assurance services and modern web optimization technologies implementation.
Main functionality includes the user registration with the possibility of account type choice. This will basically affect the location of future listings and price for it accordingly. Advanced system of the listings displaying based on the user location settings and profile type is developed. User invoice system is implemented where the payments are running in offline mode but the bills are forming and sending online. The website is responsive optimized for using/viewing on mobile, tablet and desktop.
The photo and video content can also be uploaded and viewed on mobile phones and tablets. More of it an advanced system of controlling user’s video content with the possibility of uploading straight to YouTube have been developed.
Website is fast loading optimized in more than 30 parameters, it also has advanced caching system and integrated with CDN.
