User friendly Website for the Institute which can determinate information among all stakeholders.
Requirements
- Users should be able to login to the website using there existing Email Accounts & Passwords.
- All Departments should have their own Pages which Head of Departments can edit and manage.
- All the Faculty members should be able to add Profiles, Research Publications, Patent, Book Authored, and various other information
- Important Links, Gallery, News Items etc must be also available and mapped to User Departments
- Students of the Institute can provide Feedback's on various forms.
- RSS Feeds must be available for remote publishing to Social Media Platforms
- Director Desk, HOD Desk etc must be available.
- Notices must be categorised as Central, Admissions, Examinations etc
- Faculty Publications must be grouped yearly and must be available for Download in CSV Formats in logins.
- Courses Offered, Syllabus, Timetable etc must be visible in related departments.
- Application form for Admissions Counselling etc
Why Drupal was chosen
The Existing site in Year 2017 was using custom HTML,CSS,JS
The Site was redesigned using Drupal 7 and is currently Upgraded to Drupal 9 in 2022 and then to Drupal 10
