The case of Hubo/Multimate was certainly not a standard one. The home depot has 230 stores in the Netherlands, which all have their own product stock, product ranges and offer different services. To obtain an optimal shopping experience within an omnichannel platform, we built different websites on one main domain, within one platform; Drupal.
About the project
The omnichannel platform for the do-it-yourselfer, from personal advice to online ordering or fast home delivery!
The greatest challenge was: creating a platform with a personal and local feel that met all requirements of an omnichannel webshop.
Why Drupal was chosen
Drupal offers the desired flexibility and scalability for all Hubo/Multimate stores; the system can be organized according to everyone's need. The result: 230 personal stores that are all synchronised with their cash register and product stock system ASPOS.

Tweakwise in Drupal
The Tweakwise implementation was used for the product filtering, search/autocomplete and displaying products. All product data is synchronised periodically and transferred via an API. In addition, we worked with a middleware solution to import all product data from ASPOS. From the middleware solution all product data, stores and categories are imported via the Drupal API.
Geolocation
To create a perfect customer experience, we made use of geolocation. With this, we retrieve the customers’ current location through a Google Maps API to find the nearest store location. One can choose the preferred location and, then, the assortment, stock and content from that location will be displayed on the website.
YAML Form / Webform
The forms for campaigns can be set up by Hubo/Multimate itself. To manage form submissions, we use hooks to determine the correct recipients. This allows us to manage all forms from different locations with just one generic form.
