Enea Operator is one of the four largest Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) in Poland. The company mainly serves the country's northwestern region. It manages electricity distribution, grid maintenance and expansion, and fault resolution. The company’s priority is providing a stable supply to almost 3 million customers.
About the project
The Goal
The client needed a visually and technologically consistent joint ecosystem for both Enea and Enea Operator websites.
The goals included:
- Reconciling unification with the sites’ technical autonomy – we wanted to allow the websites to share the same codebase but operate on separate databases.
- Maintaining high page load speeds – it was crucial for us to provide a fast-working website, given current standards and user expectations.
- Full WCAG compliance – our ambition was to guarantee accessibility to users with disabilities.
The Solution
We implemented the Enea Operator website as a multi-installation of the main Enea site. It allowed us to maintain technological consistency.
Our development team focused on the following:
- Code and functionality reuse – thanks to the multisite solution, we shortened the implementation process duration.
- Reducing the project cost – using the multi-installation approach reduced the overall costs for our client.
- New paragraphs – we added new content presentation modules to provide a much more appealing information display across both platforms.

We provided our client with a modern website that is fully coherent with the Enea Group's main site. The multisite approach enabled us to leverage the technological stack and structure. We also ensured that adding new features would be much simpler in the future.
