BOSSA is the brokerage house of Bank Ochrony Środowiska (Bank of Environmental Protection), one of the longest-established firms on the Polish capital market. Its public portal, bossa.pl, serves active investors with market data, account services, and educational content. When the in-house team began rebuilding the main portal, they needed a Drupal implementation that could define architecture early, support regulated-industry stability requirements, and deliver complex features through predictable release cycles.
About the project
The BOSSA team began development on a new version of bossa.pl while a legacy portion of the site remained live. Search, editorial workflows, and front-end components had to coexist with existing content until the full migration completed. Drupal specialists joined the project at the first sprints and stayed through launch and ongoing feature phases.

BOSSA (Dom Maklerski Banku Ochrony Środowiska) is the brokerage house of Bank Ochrony Środowiska, one of the longest-established firms on the Polish capital market. The digital team publishes instrument information, pricing tables, market news, and account onboarding flows for retail and active investors. Procurement and internal IT required audit-friendly delivery, minimal custom code where core features suffice, and infrastructure suited to a regulated financial brand.
Challenge
The platform needed to:

Solutions
Continuous integration and Docker environments
Standardized local setups and automated deployments to staging and production became part of daily work. Code review, acceptance gates, and pre-deployment testing entered the regular release cycle, giving the client predictable delivery cadence for financial content updates.
Layout Builder for editorial layouts
Layout Builder was adopted early so editors could arrange page sections without a bespoke editorial subsystem. Relying on a supported core feature reduced custom development and simplified upgrades as Layout Builder matured.
Pattern Lab design system and multisite themes
A Pattern Lab-based design system uses a base theme and child themes so components stay consistent while each site can vary presentation. Multisite mechanics let additional BOSSA websites reuse the same component library from one shared codebase.
Testing training and automated checks
Testing workshops covered manual and automated options for Drupal. The project added infrastructure for automated acceptance tests and visual regression checks before releases reach production.
Search, caching, and custom extensions
Development work included bridging the new portal search with the legacy index, Redis integration for cache performance, custom modules extending core behavior, and a landing-page builder that can swap header and footer regions for campaign pages. Themed blocks cover pricing tables, banners, and promotional sections used across bossa.pl.
Result
The rebuilt bossa.pl launched on schedule and remains under active development by the combined client and implementation team. Editors use Layout Builder for page composition, deployments run through automated pipelines with testing gates, and the multisite theme foundation supports additional websites already in planning.

Multisite configuration and a shared Pattern Lab theme system let the organization reuse UI components across future websites from one codebase.
