DrupalEasy training is led by perhaps one of the most experienced Drupal curriculum developers and trainers in the Drupal community, Mike Anello (@ultimike). His passion for Drupal and fulfillment in teaching is evident as he meticulously creates, customizes and updates hundreds of hours of curriculum that he delivers with his signature expertise and wit in ways that skillfully meet multiple learning styles and tend to build interest and passion for Drupal.

Current Available Training Courses

Professional Single Directory Components (PSDC) – a regularly scheduled 2-week program designed for those who want to transform their theming approach and build better, more maintainable sites by bringing modern, component-based development practices into Drupal themes.
Inside AI Drupal Essentials – 20+ hour regularly-scheduled course presented in multiple 3-hour live Zoom sessions, fitting perfectly into the work week while providing ample hands-on practice. Participants will master provider setup, autonomous agents, and site building with Drupal Canvas AI. Class recordings are included.
Professional Module Development (PMD) – a 90-hour, 15-week course (60-hour "Lite" version also available) that dives deep into best practices around developing Drupal modules, automated tests, coding standards, and developer tools.
Drupal Foundations – Available in whole or customizable for specific team needs, this maximum 12-week, up to 84-hour live-online program is designed to compress the Drupal learning curve by immersing participants in Drupal and its associated technologies, with active guidance and follow-on resources.

*All courses, unless customized otherwise, are comprised of 3 - 3.5 hour sessions that meet 2-3 days per week. Peruse upcoming scheduled training programs.

DrupalEasy Project Coaching
DrupalEasy's project coaching engagements provide the expertise you need, when you need it, in the format that makes the most sense.

Whether you use your own internal development team, or have an external team working in your site, our project coaching is there to ensure that the project moves forward in a way that focuses on best practices and sustainability. We focus on enabling your developers to build the best site possible for your organization with an eye on developer workflows, site maintainability, and developer efficiency. In short, we help your developers to deliver a site built the right way, on-time, on-budget, and easy to maintain.

Custom Training
DrupalEasy also provides specialized workshops and training programs specific to team needs and schedules concerning particular applications, workflows, and issues specific to the needs of your organization. We are also happy to provide ongoing on-time training through project coaching. Custom programs use the tried and true foundations of the many courses on basic through advanced programming and theming. We are also happy to develop new curricula to meet your needs. Sessions of varying lengths and focus can be planned to serve small or large groups anywhere in the world on-site, at DrupalEasy facilities in Florida, or live-online. Every DrupalEasy training product includes an instructor-led program with hands-on exercises and relevant examples, and of course our signature follow-on learning resources including screencasts, reference materials and detailed instructions for course examples. Additional follow-on resources, including follow up sessions and on-call assistance can be arranged.

Drupal Contributions

DrupalEasy’s contributions to the Drupal community span many areas of the community, including both code and non-code contributions. In Florida, DrupalEasy is an ongoing sponsor for Florida Drupal events since the first Florida DrupalCamp in 2009. Mike Anello is a founding organizer for Florida DrupalCamp. Additionally, Mike Anello has been an active member of the Drupal Association since 2007. He has served on the Community Cultivation Grants committee since its inception as well as being the chair of the Drupal Community Working Group. He has also volunteered at various Drupal events of all sizes in a variety of ways, including mentoring, speaking, and organizing. DrupalEasy is also a founding contributor and ongoing partner of the Drupal Association’s Discover Drupal program.

Finally, various employees and contractors of DrupalEasy are active code and documentation contributors to the Drupal project. Mike Anello is one of the co-maintainers of the Smart Trim module and has contributed patches to various other projects as well as having served as one of the maintainers of the core migration system. DrupalEasy training students are encouraged (required, in some cases) to make community contributions as well, usually in the form of documentation updates, issue queue triage, or testing and submitting patches.
