Goals

• To design and develop a fresh Drupal 10–based website aligned with
  ONGC’s internal requirements.
• To deliver the complete project within a significantly reduced
  timeline as per the approved Scope of Work (SOW).
• To implement secure domain-based authentication for internal users.
• To support operational dashboards, data management, and reporting
  needs.
• To ensure high availability and disaster recovery preparedness.

Challenges

• Implementing domain-based login using LDAP integration was one of
  the most complex components of the project.
• Ensuring secure authentication and seamless access within the
  intranet environment.
• Designing a backup and disaster recovery mechanism across multiple
  systems.
• Developing and maintaining multiple custom modules while adhering to
  Drupal 10 standards.
• Managing a tight delivery schedule while maintaining quality and
  stability.

Solution Delivered

• A fresh Drupal 10 website was developed for ONGC along with two
  sub-websites — SCSTEWA and OBC — each with independent features
  and configurations.
• Multiple custom Drupal modules were developed to meet specific
  business and operational requirements.
• A domain login system was implemented using LDAP integration,
  enabling secure authentication for intranet users.
• Bulk edit functionality was developed for managing Webform
  submissions efficiently.
• Custom counters and security-related modules were implemented.
• A print order functionality was developed as per client
  requirements.
• A disaster recovery and backup mechanism was implemented by
  maintaining a backup directory on a separate system, enabling rapid
  IP switching in case of emergency.
• A comprehensive HSE dashboard was developed using bar and line
  graphs to visualize incident data as required by stakeholders.
• The entire solution was deployed on ONGC’s intranet portal; live URLs
  are restricted, but screenshots and references were provided for
  validation.

Outcome

• The project was successfully delivered within six months, despite an initial estimated timeline of nearly one year. The Drupal 10–based solution provides a secure, scalable, and feature-rich platform that supports ONGC’s internal operations, reporting, and user management.

  The client issued a completion certificate, acknowledging timely delivery and successful implementation of all required features.
