Invuse is a digital experience and Drupal specialist agency with over 15 years’ experience designing, building and evolving Drupal platforms for complex, regulated and high-traffic environments.
We have worked with Drupal since its early evolution and continue to specialise in delivering scalable, secure and user-centred Drupal solutions across both the public and private sectors. Our work goes beyond websites, using Drupal as a flexible platform for digital services, integrations and long-term product growth.
We are strong advocates of user-centred design, accessibility and co-production. Every Drupal project we deliver is shaped by real user needs, research and evidence, with accessibility considered from the outset and aligned to WCAG standards and inclusive design best practice.
Alongside our deep Drupal expertise, we specialise in AI and automation integrated with Drupal, helping organisations enhance content workflows, improve search and discovery, reduce manual effort and create smarter, more responsive digital experiences. We believe Drupal plays a critical role as the trusted content and service layer within modern, AI-enabled architectures.
Invuse is an active supporter of open source and community-led development. We are committed to contributing insight, patterns and improvements back into the ecosystem, particularly around LocalGov Drupal, accessibility, content design and platform innovation.

Invuse actively co-designs, delivers and evolves LocalGov Drupal platforms in collaboration with councils, suppliers and the wider LGD community. Our work focuses on user-centred design, accessibility, content structure and platform sustainability.

In 2015, our teams were among the first major advisors supporting DWP’s Collaboration Services team. We advised on the design, security and implementation of a Drupal environment enabling community and group-based collaboration for approximately 85,000 internal users.

Invuse (formerly Invdev) was brought in to resolve critical infrastructure and performance failures ahead of a ministerial launch. By identifying excessive request volumes and data load as the root cause, we implemented a caching layer that stabilised the platform and prevented further outages.

Our team designed and built a Drupal platform from the ground up, including custom modules and theming, delivering a robust, scalable and user-friendly campaign website.

Drupal ecosystem contribution
Between 2008 and 2013, our team (previously operating as iO1 / Invdev) sponsored and contributed to the development of core Drupal ecosystem modules including Views, Ctools and Panels, supporting Drupal’s adoption as an enterprise-grade CMS.
