Meet Center for Genomic Regulation
The Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG) is an international biomedical research institute of excellence, created in December 2000, based in Barcelona, Spain. It's a non-profit foundation funded by the Catalan Government, the Spanish Ministry of Economy, and the "la Caixa" Banking Foundation, with participation from Pompeu Fabra University. Research at the CRG spans gene regulation, stem cells and cancer, cell and developmental biology, bioinformatics and genomics, and systems biology. It's part of the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park and one of the Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology's founding centers.
