Organization Summary
Meet Center for Digital Archaeology
CoDA is a California 501(c)3 non-profit helping archaeologists and cultural resource managers capture, preserve, and share digital content.
The Center for Digital Archaeology designs paperless apps including Codifi and Mukurtu for curating content that is safe, secure and accessible forever.
Recognizing the unique challenges digital heritage presents to human history in the 21st century, CoDA seeks to empower archaeologists, communities and educators to take control of our digital worlds. We seek a critically aware population of life-long learners who are not afraid of going beyond the limits of empirical evidence to create engaging productions. We want educators and professionals in the humanities to be able to think for themselves, taking full advantage of the digital revolution.
We offer training, consulting, web and database development. We can help your organization go paperless and fully enjoy all that digital technology has to offer.
Founded in 2011 at the Society for American Archaeology meetings in Sacramento, CA, we are building paperless apps for curating content that are easy to use but professionally powerful.
Codifi is our data workflow and custom database solution for paperless archaeology. It will transform the way you work with data and media.
Mukurtu CMS and mukurtu.net are mobile and open source platforms built with indigenous communities to manage and share digital cultural heritage.
We're passionate about your data and want to help you keep everything safe, secure and accessible forever. Let us know how we can help.
