Organization Summary
Meet Nomensa
Nomensa is now part of GAIN, a creative-led, insight-driven company that blends data, tech and creativity.
Since our founding in 2001, Nomensa has grown into an internationally renowned user experience (UX) agency with a reputation for exceptional thinking and design delivery.
We have over 100 people spread across our Bristol, London and Amsterdam offices, making us one of Europe’s largest specialist UX agencies. Our pioneering team is united by one goal: to deliver experience excellence for all our customers.
We structure our strategies around real emotions and behaviours. We do this by capitalising on our cutting-edge research capabilities and in-house labs. The insights garnered through user testing inform our creations, resulting in data-driven designs that our developers bring to life.
We centralise humans in everything we do and generate incredible digital experiences that millions of people interact with every day.

Drupal Contributions
Our development team contributes to projects on Drupal.org, including modules and patches for:
- OpenID Connect Azure B2C - easier integration of Azure B2C than use of a generic OIDC connection
- Custom Tokens - allows CMS editors to create tokens to reuse text in multiple places
- External Entities - connect to datasets from external databases
- Image focus point by Andy Stone - a module for intelligent cropping for flexible image containers.
- PA11Y Integration by Michel Vloon - this module acts as a client for a PA11Y webservice.
- Nomensa accessible media player - a Drupal module for the Nomensa accessible media player.
Members of our development team have attended DrupalCons over many years. One of our team presented a session at Drupal Europe.
We were represented on the organising committee of the first DrupalCamp Bristol, and we have attended, hosted and presented at Bristol and South West and NWDUG Drupal meet-ups.
We also regularly publish Drupal related articles on our blog Humanising Technology.
