Leiedal

Leiedal is the intermunicipal organisation for cooperation between the 13 cities and municipalities in South West Flanders. Together with an extensive network of public and private partners, Leiedal supports the sustainable and future-proof development of the region into an attractive economic hub and a great place to live, work and innovate.

With a multidisciplinary team specialising in project development, digital government, spatial planning, architecture, sustainability, innovation and communication, Leiedal works across many domains and levels of government. This transversal approach ensures that complex challenges can be tackled from strategy to implementation.

From citizen-focused digital services to major infrastructure projects, from local public spaces to regional economic ecosystems — Leiedal plays a connecting and accelerating role.

As a driving force behind Digitale Regio Kortrijk, Leiedal supports municipalities in building a modern, user-centric and accessible digital service landscape. This includes strong adoption of the Drupal ecosystem as a secure, open-source and collaborative platform for digital public services, enabling shared development, reuse and standardisation across local governments.
