Meet Bonnici

Bonnici is a Drupal specialist agency based in Auckland, New Zealand. We build and maintain Drupal platforms for government agencies, enterprise clients, and membership organisations.

A growing part of our work sits where Drupal meets AI: exposing Drupal content and workflows to AI clients over MCP, building AI into editorial and content operations, and assessing what that exposure means for security. We've published on connecting ChatGPT and Claude to a Drupal site via a remote MCP server, including two security flaws we found and disclosed in the process.

The rest of our work is complex CMS delivery. Case management systems, online reporting platforms and intranets in the public sector; member-facing sites with AMS and CRM integrations for associations. We work across Drupal 7 to 11, with depth in migrations, integration-heavy builds and long-term platform maintenance.

We contribute back through core patches, contributed modules, technical writing on Drupal and AI, and by running drupal.nz for the New Zealand Drupal community.
